Fay Hendricks has been a race columnist since 1981. Her column, Round & Around, appeared in Checkered Flag Racing News until it's final issue on July 13, 2005. Married to 7-time sportsman and mini stock champion, Jim Hendricks, her love of racing began in 1969 and has remained to this day. Still a fan of dirt tracks as well as asphalt ovals, Fay has gotten to know hundreds of racers and their families over the years. Travels in their motor home have always been an adventure as well, proving the adage that if something can go wrong, it will.
