Racing Fever Is Here At 141 Speedway

Maribel, WI - With 71 cars pre-registered and more expected on Sunday at the 141 Speedway, entrants for the Tisler Salvage April Fools Enduro, Sunday afternoon, April 1st, should top the 89 cars that took to the track in the annual New Year’s Day race!  Drivers from 7 states, Canada and the Virgin Islands have all competed in the Tisler Salvage Enduro Series.  The drivers range in age from 16 to 60 and all have a common bond, they’re living out their racing dreams at an affordable level.

Enduro racing is the cheapest and easiest version of stock car racing known to exist.  Unmodified, retired 4 cylinder street cars are specified. Modifications are limited to safety improvements.  Competition is fierce as up to 100 cars take the track all at once, and the top prize is $1,000 in cash!

The race distance is 300 laps, hence the term “enduro” – a test of endurance.  If a friend or neighbor asks you if you want to sell that Ford Escort or Honda Civic, you might ask if they race in the Tisler Salvage Enduros at the 141 Speedway.  Instead, you might decline the sale and race it yourself!

The April Fool’s race is the second of 6 races in the series.  Each year at least 200 different drivers test their skills in at least one of the events.
